Nose:
Subtle Sherry influence conveying a certain cleanness. Lovely orchard fruits providing the wholesome jammy note, lemons and wild flowers wrapped in tender coal smoke.
Palate & Finish:
Softness illustrated with the plump fruits, delightful indeed with just a fine brush of waxiness as some tannins join in.
Well finished with traces of chocolate as the coffee infused malt surfaces.
Thoughts:
Despite my failing to be enlightened by this particular curation it is clearly a pleasant dram, a harmonious blend; perhaps this is a throw back to the old days when simplicity wasn’t frowned upon but instead embraced.
