Nose:
A rater introverted nose, lemony with some freshly shaved oak. Fresh strawberries sprinkled with icing sugar to set a rather refreshing vibe.
Palate & Finish:
Strawberry jam and air dried strawberries with a hint of malt as the dram grows more acidic, quite simplistic with the oak in play giving some weight and some spices dressing things up a bit.
The finishing is rather mild, just a hint of milk chocolate to coat the strawberry jam sweetness.
Thoughts:
Quite a modest dram I suppose, I don’t mind it at all but I am afraid it doesn’t leave a lasting impression..
