We will be going on hiatus with a blast by sharing whiskies we have acquired during recent trips from Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan. Here’s the line up so far (15 ml serves):
Coilltean Samaroli Samaroli Islay 43%
Mr. Bleve composed this blend specifically for Shinanoya in Japan. I expect nothing short of quality just like the Islay blends bottled by Coilltean in recent years.
The Oceans Glen Keith 21 Years Old 57.2%
Exclusively bottled for Whisk-e Limited in Japan, I have had a couple of sublime fruit bombs from Glen Keith lately so I will be looking forward to trying this one.
Cragganmore Aged 27 Years 48.7%
A joint bottling for the Mash Tun Tokyo and Club Qing, selected by the guys whose palate I respect. And it’s a 27 year old Cragganmore..
Arran 19 Years Old Cask #1093 52.3%
Suzuki San selected this Arran to celebrate the 12th anniversary for his bar, I look forward to opening this to celebrate our last session of the year.
Club Qing Speyside Region Aged 40 Years 52.8%
An undisclosed and unknown Speyside malt selected by Club Qing. Elegance exuded.
Bunnahabhain Aged 27 Years 49.1%
The Auld Alliance team selected an absolutely marvellous cask here.
