[47.5%・Distilled in 2007・Bottled in 2017・9 Years Old・Official Bottling・Cask TD0202・Single Cask Release of 174 Bottles]

What a pleasant surprise, clean pasture and freshly plucked apples, refreshing as a clean floral note gently comes through with a green kiwi note.  A subtle hint of oak in the background giving the dram another dimension.

Palate & Finish:

Immensely juicy and succulent, the green grapes and the orchard fruits combine well with the barley, the crisp sweetness gives way to a brush of charred oak.  The combination of these light flavours achieve a good balance.

The crisp natural sweetness lingers as the dryness comes through, a touch of ginger flower with the underlying bed of barley providing a comfortable finish.

The chardonnay cask is really quite unique, it’s nice to see an old guard can still learn new tricks and surprise you in a fascinating manner.  A delicious summer-time dram..
